Pros:	Pros: Hard drive, picture quality
Cons:	Cons: Crashes, hard drive, gets hot, costly
Points: Perform : 6 Features: 6 Value/dosh: 4 Overall: 5 pts	Met the guys from Hisat who raved about this receiver although I was disappointed after several weeks of use. Downside is the machine gets very hot; you need a fan ideally to keep it cool, I would question the 30-hour plus capacity as mine normally sticks or crashes when the h/d gets anywhere near full. The tuner is to sensitive for feedhunting and sometimes fails to find signals other receivers I have used did fine. Plus side is it looks and feels rugged, runs well 99% of the time, has an easy interface that you can pick up in minutes. It can also be bought 'patched' although that has caused a few minor problems in some models. Plus the extended guarantee is excellent and the ability to record and play back NTSC feeds in colour and full screen via the hardrive. To sum up a missed opportunity. Could do better.
