There was a time when F1 Ci (named after Formula One for its aerodynamics i suppose) was the box to have. Press all over Europe would convince you in every issue that it's better than coffee in the morning and cigarette after sex all together. For me this box from the very beginning had two major problems - speed and lack of memory (how did you guess?). For months i would not belive there was a slower box on earth (then Nokia 9800 came along and i really saw tely through the eyes of turtle). When you bored on rainy sunday afternoon you can even challenge your friends after few beers how many clicks on the remote you can manage before F1 CI starts switching channels over. The memory thing is when you store more than hundred channels. With every next hundred you get less letters on OSD. At the end of the channel search on Astras + HotBird when you fill up all thousand memory slots you would notice that all your Taquilas were now called the same - TAQ, all your Discovery channel labels were cut down to identical DIS etc, etc. But on the other hand, this box was rotating dishes with single cable via DisEQc 1.2 before you could even buy DisEQc motors n shops...
