I actually use this box at my flat in moscow, and while in the UK I currently use my Nokia 9800S which is also reviewed on this site.

The box is an N-TV version (0032.1200) but has both Russian and English menus. It is pretty quick, better than my Nokia anyway, and has nevre crashed on me. I have not tried any of the channel editing software (I can only recieve about 40 channels on my dish in moscow) but there are several differant options for editing with a PC.

The box is very small, and could easily be hidden. However it does produce quite a bit of heat so probably requires a good air supply.

I have never got very far using Goldcards in this box (unlike with the Nokia9800S), the box will read them however if you use a card which has the N-TV ident on it (00C410) the card will continually reset. I would guess this is something to do with it being a N-TV box, however I have not tested it with other providers.

I have not used it on a motor so cant comment on its Disecq abilities, however i would expect it to be the same as other current Humax boxes.

The Humax website has frequent software updates for standard off the shelf version of this box and technical support is not bad.

The unit is also extrmely cheap in Russia (you dont need to subscribe to buy one either!), and I doubt you can find a better Viaccess decoder for the price!
