Pros:	Pros: channel lists restricted to each satellite
Cons:	Cons: hit and miss for feedhunting
Points: Perform : 7 Features: 7 Value/dosh: 5 Overall: 6 pts	The Technomate is an excellent budget receiver that can drive a traditional motor - while adjusting the positioner you can view the channel currently being broadcast - to get the best possible signal out of week satellites/feeds. Channel lists are organised via satellite - some pretuned - which means when you update a satellite position following a scan any new channels are stored with the same satellite not at the end of a very long multi-satellite list. You can clearly organise favourites or regular feeds and easily move a free-to-air channel to the front of each satellite. Picture quality is good, colours bright, sound fine, options on picture are best left alone however, options 'Sports', 'Movie' etc are IMHO a gimmick. Downside is that some channels are not scanned by the Technomate despite being picked up by a Nokia 9600 with Dr Overflow for example, plus the general lack of response from Myers in Walthamsow, East London, close to where I live the UK's main Technomate dealer.
