Flight 157 postponed
Just 3 seconds before the launch of Ariane 5 craft with HotBird 7 and Stentor satellites onboard from Kourou in French Guyana an anomaly caused igniters not to respond with status report to ground operating control software and the countdown was stopped. The problem was not related to the launcher or craft itself and the automated ground control systems worked as expected preventing engines from starting when a data problem occurred. The mission has been postponed by a few days.
Hot Bird 7 carries payload of 40 Ku band transponders and is designed to serve up to 15 years. Its final destination has been allocated at 13
