Majority stake in Eutelsat for grabs
BT Group Plc, Deutsche Telecom AG and France Telecom SA are ready to sell their all together 51% majority stake in satellite operator Eutelsat SA to reduce their debts. According to French press the shareholders of telco giants have set Dec 13 as a deadline for offers.
The mostly unconfirmed bidders include PanAmSat, Finmeccanica SA and most recently a whooping 3.8 billion Euros cash and stock offer from Intelsat.
