D+ drops Irdeto
From April the 30th Italian provider D+ will no longer use Irdeto as alternative encryption for its programms. Subscribers using Irdeto terminals can exchange their old boxes and cards for Seca Mediaguard bundle between March 19th and 31st.
Polish SDTV also reported Stream, second biggest Italian digital satellite provider plans to move their broadcast from Irdeto to Videoguard encryption system this year.
