- D2MAC encrypted Viasat package shall disappear from analog frequencies ending an era in satellite television history.
- GOD Digital should launch its Cryptoworks scrambled subscription program on Eurobird. Estimated cost is 15 UKP a month.
- MTV 2 Pop Channel should replace MTV UK on analog Astra, broadcast is expected to be clear.
- Once again MTV2 Pop Channel should replace cable targeted VH1 Germany on digital Astra. Channel will remain scrambled in Cryptoworks.
