Cyfra+ and Wizja TV merger official
 United Pan-Europe Communications N.V. (UPC) and Canal+ Group division of Vivendi Universal reached the final agreement today to merge two major Polish pay TV platforms Cyfra+ and Wizja TV.
In the press statement released by UPC this morning we read the new company called TKP will be controlled by Canal+ holding 75% against UPC's 25%. The new platform will adapt Canal+ owned Mediaguard encryption and Media Highway for interactive content.
