Atlantic Bird™ launch successfull.
 Today at around 7:32 Kourou Local Time ( 23:32 GMT ) Eutelsat's Atlantic Bird™ 2 was elevated from launchpad in French Guiana into space. Payload of Arainespace flight 144 currently continues its journey towards geostationary orbit at 8 degrees West. Primary contractor of the flight is Alcatel Space and Eutelsat owned satellite is to provide high bandwidth telecommunications and internet connectivity between both Americas, Europe and Africa as well as television feeds. Early next year spacecraft at 8 degrees West will be joined by its "little brother" Atlantic Bird™ 1.
